Insurance Agency Receptionist and Office Administrator
Location: Aurora, ON - L4G 1N8
Are you a professional, friendly, and organized individual looking to join a dynamic team? Our client, an independent contractor for Desjardins is seeking an Insurance Agency Receptionist and Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for their clients and play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of their agency. If you have social media and marketing experience, that's a plus!
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Management: Greet and assist clients in person, over the phone, and via email in a courteous and professional manner.
Client Support: Handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information about agency services.
Administrative Duties: Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain organized client files, and perform general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
Marketing: Manage the agency's marketing and social media campaigns.
Office Coordination: Ensure the reception area is clean and welcoming, order office supplies, and handle any facility-related issues.
Team Collaboration: Support other team members and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment.
Requirements 5+ years of previous experience as an office clerk or administrator in a professional setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to type efficiently and accurately for data entry tasks.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to obtain OTL license within 3 months of employment.
