Maintenance Assistant
About the role
Do you enjoy painting, cleaning, fixing, and sprucing up? If so, then this is the position for you! Working alongside our maintenance director, this role is for individuals passionate about building skills as a handy person all the while being outside and at one of the most fun and exciting places in the world. Responsibilities:
- To ensure the physical safety and security of property and maintain a hazard-free environment
- To maintain a clean and attractive environment
- Participate in the opening and closing of camp
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Director
- Responsible for checking buildings daily to ensure that supplies are ready and available.
Objective: To create a happy and healthy, vigorous, warm, and exciting atmosphere for campers and staff
Responsibilities: To ensure the camp buildings, equipment and assets are kept in good condition.
Supervisor/ Evaluated By: Maintenance Director
Salary: 2,200-2,500

Camp Amy Molson, founded in 1944, is a non-profit overnight summer camp for inner-city Montreal children, aged 5 to 14 years old. Our mission is to provide children living in vulnerable circumstances with an affordable, happy, outdoor experience, in which they can build self-confidence, develop positive relationships and learn valuable life skills in an environment that promotes group learning and nurtures each camper individually.
