About the role

Company Description: Golf O’Clock powers modern indoor golf and bowling operations with software designed to simplify operations and elevate the guest experience.

Built for operators who care about efficiency, growth, and exceptional customer experiences, the platform helps facilities manage reservations, payments, memberships, packages, and day-to-day operations through a single, intuitive system. By removing operational friction and reducing administrative overhead, Golf O’Clock gives operators more time to focus on their customers, their team, and the growth of their business.

Founded in Montréal and serving facilities across multiple countries, Golf O’Clock is entering its next phase of growth. With an expanding product offering and a growing presence across sports, hospitality, and entertainment, we continue to build technology that helps operators run better businesses and create better guest experiences.

The role We're a small team. You'd own systems, not tasks. The SvelteKit web app, the Firebase backend, multi-tenant booking flows, payments, auth, and an Electron kiosk app running in simulator bays. The platform is live and revenue-generating. People use it every day and they notice when things break. You need to be thoughtful about how you change things.

Day to day: building and extending features across the full stack, debugging production issues in a system that has real history and real users, making architectural decisions, reviewing code, and helping define what the product becomes as we move into new markets. We offer equity and believe now is an amazing time to join an already profitable company with real and fast growth.

What we're looking for You've shipped production web apps and supported them after launch. You've worked across the stack. Not necessarily our stack, but you've done frontend and backend, and you're comfortable switching between them.

Our stack is SvelteKit, TypeScript, Firebase, Firestore, GCP, and Electron. If you know all of it, great. If you know half and learn fast, that matters more to us than coverage. We'd rather hire someone who can reason through an unfamiliar system than someone who's memorized every API we use. You should be someone who simplifies things when given the chance, communicates directly, and doesn't need a lot of scaffolding to be productive.

Work setup Hybrid in the Greater Montréal area. Remote when it makes sense. We work together when face-to-face is useful or wanted.

How to apply Email info@golfoclock.com with your resume or LinkedIn and a few lines about why this is interesting to you. GitHub or side projects are welcome but not required. No cover letter. We'll get back to you quickly.
