Job Description:
Do you want to turn ideas into concrete solutions? As part of our innovation team, you’ll play a key role in designing custom electrical systems, from creating schematics to validating prototypes. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and technology partners to push the boundaries of electrical engineering. Your projects will lead you to:

Design, create, and update electrical schematics (control panels, embedded modules, etc.).

Prepare the bill of materials (BOM) for projects.
-
Select and integrate power and control components (microcontrollers, sensors, communication modules, etc.).
-
Design and draw schematics for control panel manufacturing.
-
Actively participate in design reviews with a multidisciplinary team.
-
Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs, provide regular follow-ups, and present proposed solutions.
-
Maintain relationships with electrical technology suppliers to ensure successful product development.
-
Validate prototypes, perform functional tests, and ensure compliance with applicable standards (CSA, UL, CE, etc.).
-
Write and keep design documentation up to date: calculations, tests, validations, budgets, and continuous improvement processes.
-
Provide technical support during after-sales service to efficiently resolve electrical issues.
-
Draft technical documentation: user guides, assembly procedures, operating manuals.
-
Stay up to date on technological advancements in the field.
You’re the right fit if you:

Have experience in electrical panel design.
-
Are proficient with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical, or equivalent).

Hold a college diploma in electrical engineering or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Have at least two years of relevant experience in product development or system integration in a manufacturing environment.

Are detail-oriented and meticulous.
-
Are creative and resourceful.
-
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
-
Have excellent interpersonal skills and adapt easily to client needs.
-
Are versatile and able to adapt to different situations.
-
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Provide outstanding customer service.

Are willing to travel to client sites.

Are comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written (an asset).
