We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Developer for a 6-month contract to support a ReportsNow to Power BI migration project . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing Power BI Paginated Reports , as well as expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) , SQL Server , and T-SQL . This role involves converting existing ReportsNow reports into Power BI Paginated Reports and ensuring seamless integration with our BI environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate existing JD Edwards ReportsNow reports to Power BI Paginated Reports.
- Design, develop, and maintain new and existing Power BI Paginated Reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures for report development.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in reporting.
- Work with IT BI team to integrate reports with existing data models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance and data integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with Power BI Paginated Reports and SSRS.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Experience with relational database design and data modeling concepts.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver clear, actionable reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI Desktop and DAX.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD for BI solutions.
- Prior experience with ReportsNow or similar reporting tools.
