The Data Management and Analytics Unit (DMAU) leads divisional efforts in data analytics, management, and privacy ensuring the right data reaches the right people at the right time , with the right privacy protections .
Through collaboration, DMAU promotes best practices and builds capacity to deliver timely, accurate, and accessible data that supports informed decision-making.
As part of the team, you will:
• lead data-focused transformation projects and provide expert project and change management guidance
• develop action plans based on risk analysis and strategic priorities
• advise senior leaders on project proposals, performance measures, and business improvements
• conduct and oversee research and evaluation to support data-informed decision-making
• collaborate with IT to enhance systems and tools that support data use for analysis and reporting
• create dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI to support decision-making and performance tracking
• build strong relationships with internal teams, ministries, and external stakeholders
What you bring to the team
Data and business process expertise
You have:
• experience applying data management practices, tools, and governance
• understanding of technology-enabled solutions that address evolving business requirements
• the ability to lead the design and implementation of integrated business and management processes
• proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI
Project leadership and change management
You have:
• proven ability to lead complex projects and guide teams through change
• skills in planning, execution, and delivering results aligned with strategic priorities
• experience creating and executing work against project schedules
Strategic analysis and problem-solving
You can:
• evaluate processes, conduct risk assessments, and develop actionable recommendations
• demonstrate judgment, political acuity, and strategic thinking
• interpret and apply policy, procedures and legislation
Stakeholder engagement and communication
You are skilled at:
• writing clear and concise documents, such as briefing notes and executive correspondence
• simplifying complex information into actionable formats
• delivering engaging presentations and facilitating discussions tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
• building relationships with internal and external partners to support collaboration
