About the role

Job Description We are currently recruiting for a SERVICE SALES SPECIALIST for our clients Power & Control Systems (PCS) Division, located in either Delta, BC or Kamloops, BC.

This hybrid position offers benefits from day one and requires approximately 50% travel within the assigned region.

Job Description Our client, a global leader in electrical power management, is seeking a dynamic Service Sales Specialist to join their Engineering Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth for our clients Engineering Services and related product offerings by managing customer relationships, developing solution-based proposals, and achieving sales objectives across British Columbia.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales and growth strategies to achieve annual performance objectives.
  • Prepare sales proposals, bids, and value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  • Manage and expand key customer and channel relationships throughout BC.
  • Support Engineering Services and Eaton product lines to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging CRM to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Lead and participate in promotional activities such as trade shows, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate quotations and competitive pricing strategies in alignment with business goals.
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to our clients Safety, Environmental, and Ethical standards.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Required

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales and/or field experience in the electrical industry.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Must reside within 100 km of Delta or Kamloops, BC.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship available).

Preferred

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, or Business.
  • Technical experience in electrical products or services.
  • P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset.

Ideal Candidate Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of sales experience, including 2 years of outside sales in the electrical industry. This role will cover the BC territory and will be very active in the territory day to day, including overnight travel. A technical background (like technologist or engineering education) is preferred given the technical nature of this role. Candidates should be familiar with reading single line diagrams and schematic diagrams.
