OVERVIEW:

Alberta Blue Cross® is looking for an adaptable, tech-savvy individual to join our growing Coordination of Benefits (COB) team. At Alberta Blue Cross® we believe in a positive, supportive work environment, and as we navigate a period of exciting change, we need a COB Specialist who is ready to learn and grow with us. WHAT YOU’LL BE PART OF:

  • A Collaborative Team: You'll be part of a team where your contributions matter. We work together to handle daily COB reports, solve complex issues, and streamline our processes.=
  • Shaping the Future: This role is at the forefront of change. We're embracing new technologies and processes, and your input will be crucial in helping us identify opportunities for enhancement and documenting our new best practices.
  • Client & Team Support: You'll be an expert resource for our clients and colleagues, providing clear guidance and support to ensure seamless COB administration.
  • Continuous Learning: You'll ensure our systems are up-to-date and in sync, aligning our activities with CLHIA guidelines and company best practices. You'll also represent the team on special projects, expanding your skills and knowledge.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Business diploma or certificate would be considered an asset.
  • You are a quick learner with a positive attitude toward technology and change.
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys working with a team to solve problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to spot trends.
  • Excellent communication skills—you can explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience in benefits or claims administration is a plus, but your eagerness to learn is what matters most.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint would be considered an asset.
