Summary As a Supporting AME, under the supervision of the Sr. Maintenance Manager, the chosen candidate will maintain, supervise, and control the maintenance activities of their respective assigned aircraft in the form of scheduled and unscheduled inspections, defect rectification, and AOG support.Responsibilities
Adhere to Company policies and procedures
Ensure aircraft is maintained in accordance with regulations
Communicate with Dispatch / Ops for flight details and changes
Advise on any potential downtime to the aircraft
Evaluate Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters and SIL’s
Prepare annual maintenance budgets
Daily inspections, including pre-flight and post flight activities
Track expenditures and maintenance activities
Review and validate MSP/Smart Parts/Warranty programs
Participate with scheduled heavy maintenance & generate task cards
Provide AOG support when required
Travel with aircraft as required
Requirements Basic Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 Have successfully completed a TC approved Aircraft Maintenance Technical training program AME license category M1 Required (M2 an asset) 3-5 years aircraft maintenance experience Must be fluent in English Basic computer skills
Additional Requirements and conditions
Must be available to work shifts as needed during major projects. Must possess a valid passport and driver’s license. Must maintain a valid RAIC red badge (YYC badge) during entire employment. Other assets include: “D/A”, “D/A R” and “D” badge.
