VP Real Estate Development & Sales
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to share with you!
Horizon Legacy Construction Automation (HLCA) — a pioneering construction automation and real estate development company — is transforming how buildings and communities are delivered across Canada. With more than 70 years of development experience, HLCA blends advanced robotics, technology-driven workflows, and deep industry expertise to tackle Canada’s most pressing housing and productivity challenges.
They are now seeking a Vice President of Residential Development & Sales to accelerate growth, expand strategic partnerships, and lead the commercialization of their construction automation platform. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned leader to help shape the future of housing.
Your New Employer
Horizon Legacy has a 50+ years history of delivering high-quality projects, including landmark developments such as One Financial Place, Yonge Eglinton Centre, and Atrium on Bay. With a legacy rooted in innovation, value creation, and community impact, HLCA is redefining construction by integrating robotics and automation into every stage of delivery.

HLCA is driven by the belief that breakthrough technologies can solve Canada’s toughest productivity and labour challenges, and they have built an engaged, mission-driven team committed to transforming the industry.
Your New Role
As VP, Development & Sales, you will play a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of development, partnerships, and technology-enabled construction. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the structuring and execution of residential development deals, cultivate relationships with developers, not-for-profits, municipal partners, and government agencies, and guide projects through entitlement processes including, official plan amendments, rezonings, and initial site plan applications.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing HLCA’s go-to-market strategy, strengthening business development and sales processes, and driving revenue growth across development, construction, and building systems services. Working closely with teams across R&D, Deployment, Construction, Planning, and Finance, you will translate opportunity into execution, ensuring HLCA is positioned as a trusted leader in construction automation.
What Sets You Apart
You are an accomplished real estate executive with more than 20 years of development experience and a strong record of structuring complex housing deals. You bring deep familiarity with RFPs, P3s, and REOIs, and maintain strong relationships across the development community and public-sector housing partners.
You lead with integrity and collaboration, think strategically, and possess strong commercial instincts. You are a mentor to emerging leaders, a confident decision-maker, and someone who thrives in environments that demand innovation, adaptability, and forward-thinking approaches.
What You Can Expect
You will join a purpose-driven organization that believes the next great leap in construction will come from reimagining how buildings are created. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of housing through robotics and automation, while contributing to a team that values precision, innovation, and results.
You can expect close collaboration with senior leadership, exposure to external partners and capital influencers, and the opportunity to influence strategy and market expansion as HLCA scales.
