What You Will Do
- Work within a cross-functional team
- Monitor, maintain and restore service for applications to ensure service level agreements are met
- Support existing systems and assist in root cause analysis and resolution
- Analyze and complete ad-hoc report requests
- Document and communicate assigned work and issue
- Report and coordinate incident with minimum guideline
- Help to develop the knowledge assets required for application support and operation.
- Support after business hour and weekend IT related activities on rotational basis. (ex: production deployment, server patching and disaster recovery exercises)
- Provide after business hour on-call support on rotational basis
The Requirements Needed
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Programming experience in SQL and C#
- Knowledge of relational databases and MS SQL server
- Windows Server experience
- Ability to learn fast from internal and external resource
- Able to identify problem, collect information and resolve issue with minimum guidance
- Abe to identify and report incident from issue with guidance
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of application monitoring and ticket system operations
- Knowledge of support and operation practice, concepts, technology and tool stacks
Education
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology
