Responsibilities: Executes the region’s sales strategy and manages selling activities Responsible for achievement of quarterly and annual territory sales objectives as established by management through alignment with Sales and Marketing plans Sets sales direction with vision and passion to inspire, excite and exceed objectives Ensure effective and efficient progression of medical professionals through the training process to exceed agreed upon targets for completed high quality product training Ensure prompt response to requests for additional clinical support and oversee clinical escalation strategies to optimize outcomes, adoption and customer satisfaction Ensure that sales team maintains required the skills, relationships and certifications to deliver a world class training experience Share feedback from customers and the sales team with leadership to ensure continued training program improvement Visit potential customers in region as required to build relationships, support the sales team and promote the features and benefits of Medline or National brand products Maximize account volume, mix and ‘Willingness to Recommend’ thereby driving sales and expanding the customer base Ensures deployment efficiency and effectiveness of a sales team. Responsible for timely field team talent recruitment, training and on-boarding. Manages performance and development of team personnel by identifying strengths and opportunities and implements practical developmental plans for team members Establishes challenging goals and exhibits a leadership style consistent with operating in a compliant and constantly changing environment Works with Sales Administration to ensure order customer processing and sales incentive plans are executed and communicated appropriately Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Three or more years of Healthcare sales team management experience and three or more years of direct medical device sales and support management experience. Experience and knowledge with/in sales management and training Broad knowledge of the Medical Device Industry. Meet/exceed forecasts, budgets, milestones and schedules. Able to guide customers through the learning curve of a novel product/procedure for both routine and complex cases and to train subordinates to do the same. Lead and function effectively in a high performance team – able to provide constructive feedback and coaching to motivate improvement in employee performance. Coach and develop others using analytical decision-making and results-oriented skills. Manage and prioritize workload, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges. Communicate scientific/clinical features and benefits of a product. Confidence in product knowledge, yet deferential to clinical judgment Strong analytical and problem resolution skills ;Exceptional organization skills; High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment Demonstrated Business acumen – an understanding of market dynamics, key business drivers, marketing plans and able to execute strategic directives in a compliant manner.
