Key Responsibilities:
- Complete on-site wiring of field devices and equipment
- MCC installation
- Switchgear/Switchboard installation
- System Retrofitting; relay logic conversion to PLC driven systems
- System Upgrading; replacement/upgrading of outdated PLC systems to newer hardware
- Control wiring to field devices; proximity sensors, point level indication, continuous
- level indication, flow indication, temperature indication, position indication
- Custom control panel building
- Run conduit & pull wire
- Rigid Steel
- Assist foreman on job sites
- Assist in training of apprentices
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered 309A Apprentice and currently in 2nd Year or higher
- College Diploma/Certificate consider an asset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Additional certificates and training would be considered a strong asset
- Experience in rigid conduit threading an installation considered a strong asset
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
