S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a talented Metal Finisher (Grinder) who has a passion for innovation and, in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Work Location : 90 Belfield Road, Etobicoke M9W 1G4
Shifts Available : Weekend shift is 36hrs/wk (Friday - Sunday; 6 am - 6 pm)
As a Metal Finisher (Grinder), you will:
- Grind and buff the product in preparation for painting
- Inspect and effect repair on a defective or substandard weld
- Maintain stock levels of needed supplies
- Prime and paint the product to the required specifications
- Deliver product from the paint line to the required location
- Hang and offload product Maintain proper housekeeping of the area
Who are we looking for? Someone who has:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques
- Experience using an overhead crane and working with pneumatic air tools, such as grinders and buffing machines
- Strong manual dexterity
- Both Team Player qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to climb ladders and work on platforms as required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Welding experience (considered an asset)
