S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a talented Metal Finisher (Grinder) who has a passion for innovation and, in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Work Location : 90 Belfield Road, Etobicoke M9W 1G4

Shifts Available : Weekend shift is 36hrs/wk (Friday - Sunday; 6 am - 6 pm)

As a Metal Finisher (Grinder), you will:

• Grind and buff the product in preparation for painting
• Inspect and effect repair on a defective or substandard weld
• Maintain stock levels of needed supplies
• Prime and paint the product to the required specifications
• Deliver product from the paint line to the required location
• Hang and offload product Maintain proper housekeeping of the area

Who are we looking for? Someone who has:

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques
• Experience using an overhead crane and working with pneumatic air tools, such as grinders and buffing machines
• Strong manual dexterity
• Both Team Player qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to climb ladders and work on platforms as required
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Welding experience (considered an asset)
