To support that growth, we are hiring ahigh-performance Office Manager / Operations Leadto take ownership of the business side of the firm.
###The Opportunity
This isnota traditional office manager role.
You will act as theoperational backbone of the firm, responsible for ensuring our people, systems, and processes operate at a high level.
You will work directly with firm leadership and have real authority to:
- Improve systems
- Drive accountability
- Elevate team performance

###What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- Lawyers consistently meeting or exceeding billing and performance targets
- Intake conversion rates improved and tracked with clear accountability
- Administrative team running smoothly with minimal oversight
- Billing, collections, and file management systems operating efficiently
- Key workflows documented, standardized, and continuously improved
- Client experience is consistent, responsive, and professional across all touchpoints
###Core Responsibilities
###Operations & Systems
- Own and optimize day-to-day firm operations across all administrative functions
- Build, implement, and refine systems that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and scale with growth
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions
###People Leadership & HR
- Lead, manage, and develop administrative staff (legal assistants, intake, support staff)
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing team members
- Set clear expectations and manage performance with accountability
- Address personnel issues directly and professionally
###Financial & Performance Management
- Oversee billing workflows, WIP, and collections in collaboration with accounting
- Track and report on key performance metrics (billing, conversion, efficiency)
- Drive systems that support lawyers in meeting revenue targets
###Client Experience & Intake
- Own the intake function and ensure high conversion and client satisfaction
- Improve onboarding processes and ensure consistency in client communication
- Address escalated client issues and strengthen service standards
###Technology & Infrastructure
- Oversee legal and operational systems (Clio or equivalent, document management, etc.)
- Identify and implement tools that improve productivity and reduce manual work
- Liaise with IT and external vendors as needed
###Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with Law Society requirements, privacy standards, and internal policies
- Maintain organized, audit-ready systems for files and records

- 3–7+ years in a law firm operations, office manager, or senior legal assistant role
- Strong understanding of legal workflows, billing, and law firm operations
- Experience managing people and driving performance

Benefits

- $85,000 – $115,000 base salary (based on experience)
