Position Overview:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for providing development opportunities for District Sales Representatives (DSRs) while overseeing and directing initiatives that enhance customer relationships and drive growth opportunities. This role includes reporting, analyzing, and communicating data related to goal achievement, as well as overseeing and monitoring training activities for direct reports. The District Sales Manager also participates in both Gordon Food Service and customer related activities to support overall business objectives.
** This position will be located in the South Okanagan area
**This position offers annual compensation of $120,000 to $140,000 in British Columbia, commensurate with experience**

What you would do:
- Leading, developing, mentoring and managing a team of Sales Representatives
- Assisting Sales Representatives with contract negotiations and pricing strategies to grow territories
- Financial management of the territory, including factors such as cost, profitability and managing of the sales operating budget
- Implementing best practices that translate into improved customer service
- Providing employee development through ongoing training
- Offering flawless service to our customers
- Responsible for determining the territory potential for existing customers, competitor accounts and new business in the South Okanagan region
- Setting territory and individual goals for overall sales, product line sales and account profitability
- Participating in food shows, sales meetings and sales promotions

- Possess 5+ years of senior experience in food-related sales and customer service.
- Proven leadership skills, with a strong focus on coaching and development
- Have demonstrated an attitude that contributes to employee engagement and a positive culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong analytical skills and presentation skills
