We also help you save for your future by offering pension programs, and savings plans with company matching Benefits: utilize an employee assistance program and comprehensive company-paid health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family to support your mental, physical, and financial well-being Generous time-off: enjoy generous paid vacation time and personal time-off to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance Talent development programs: Internal mobility, succession planning, and employee training and development programs are just a few ways we’re dedicated to your development Minimum Requirements: 5-10 years offshore or vessel to vessel crane operations Crane Operation certification- Level 3 Offshore Crane Operator Assessment Rigging and Banksman certification and experience Bridge Watch certificate Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Road and Marine) (IMDG) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Air) IATA would be an asset Forklift Operations experience Responsibilities: Maintain integrity and perform routine preventative maintenance of all cranes and lifting systems and equipment in accordance with established procedures Assist the shore-based vendor technicians with quarterly and annual preventative maintenance routines, and with corrective maintenance activities as required Ensure all equipment and cargo is loaded/offloaded from supply vessels Perform personnel movement by FROG to/from supply boat (including inspection prior to and securing personnel for movement) Responsible in the role of Helideck Landing Officer (HLO) Control and monitor storage and use of loose lifting equipment Assist with vessel and other marine related operations. This includes but not limited to: tanker operations; housekeeping; routine maintenance on various vessel systems Ensure all crude oil offloading activities including connecting operations, degassing, monitoring and strainer cleaning of the metering package are performed safely Location and other Key Details: This position has been identified as safety sensitive The shift schedule is a 21 days on/ 21days off rotation You will work 12-hour shifts in a harsh offshore environment on a moving facility Prior to offshore travel, you will satisfy and maintain mandatory industry training standards Qualified residents of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador will be given first consideration in the staffing of this position Pay rate in accordance with Appendix A of the Collective Agreement between Terra Nova Employers’ Organization and Unifor Local 2121 This position will remain open for applicants until July 24, 2026 Think we are a fit?
