About the role
PURPOSE
The Coordinator, Digital Marketing is accountable to the Director, Corporate Marketing and is responsible for the development and execution of digital programs, content and assets targeting multiple internal and external audiences in support of corporate objectives, business development and a dominant brand voice in the real estate industry in North America.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Visual Design
Performs concept development, design, production, and distribution/installation of professional, high-quality, creative and original graphic design optimized for print, web, video and social media. Prepares artwork in accordance with production technical requirements using Adobe Design Creative Suite and MS Office. Performs modifications to existing design files as required. Proofs vendor materials to ensure accurate and high-quality work. Ensures Morguard’s brand identity is maintained through all design projects.
2. Web / Social / Digital Content Management
Proactively manages brand presence and timely content updates across multiple websites and social media channels, using various Content Management Systems (CMS), tools, processes and protocols, supported by the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. Sets up and maintains new social media channels as required to meet business objectives. Contributes to new features and enhancements on multiple websites. Leads user acceptance testing across web, social and digital platforms.
3. Project Management
Manages timelines and provides status updates for internal and external projects, including specific vendors, to ensure deadlines are met. Identifies additional requirements and opportunities to optimize the value of a project. Maintains and organizes design assets, source files and production files. Tracks all assigned activities in project reporting software.
4. Marketing Advisory
Advances brand standards through communications with business units to en sure th a t c o m p a n y bra n d st a n d ards are c o n s i s t e nt l y a p p li e d t o digital marketing collateral. Works collaboratively with business units to identify business requirements, provide design solutions and execute project delivery.
5. Digital Asset Management (DAM)
Identifies and supports requirements for photography, renderings, video, logos and other digital assets. Manages corporate DAM platform to ensure high-quality, relevant digital assets for all user types.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
- Graphic Design degree, diploma or certificate required
- Minimum 4 years related experience
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript)
- 3+ years web development experience utilizing a Content Management System including SharePoint
- Solid understanding of design principles (typography, color & composition)
- Strong knowledge of digital file preparation and print production
- Highly proficient in A d o be P h o tosh o p, A d o be A cr o b at P r o f e ss i o n a l , A d o b e I l l u s trat o r , Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver
- Strong k n o w l e d ge of MS Office 365
- Knowledge of social media processes, platforms and marketing
