Position Summary:
Acuren is currently seeking CGSB Level 2 NDT Technicians (minimum RT2 & MT2 required) to support project work across the Prairies Region on a callout basis. As an NDT Technician at Acuren, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our clients’ operations. Position Information
- Openings available for CGSB Level 2 and Level 2+ Technicians (RT2 & MT2 required)
- Project-based/outage and callout work
- Start date: ASAP
- Rotations and shifts vary depending on project requirements
- Local candidates preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform Radiographic Testing (RT2) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) inspections in accordance with CGSB, company, and client standards.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate RT and MT equipment, ensuring proper use, care, and compliance with safety requirements (including radiation safety protocols).
- Interpret test results, identify defects, and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports and documentation.
- Follow established standards, procedures, and project requirements to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills when working with crews and clients on-site.
- Maintain positive client relationships by providing professional service and ensuring inspection activities meet operational and safety objectives.
Requirements:
- CGSB Level 2 certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT2) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) – required
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to professionalism
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
- Exceptional safety awareness and commitment to quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with effective time management
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver’s license
- IRATA certification (or willingness to obtain) considered an asset
