The Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Digital Transformation will play a pivotal role in enhancing performance management processes. Your primary focus will be on leveraging data insights and visualization tools to identify opportunities for optimization, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations. The role requires proactive leadership to initiate discussions with cross-functional teams and champion the adoption of analytics reports. This role is designed to help find opportunities that will ultimately lead to better financial results for the J&J MedTech Canada organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and build of performance management framework for supply chain and if applicable cross-functional processes. Lead the development of analytics solutions, tools, dashboards from complex and disparate datasets in collaboration with cross functional partners such as: Global Planning, Finance, Marketing, IT.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiencies.
- Lead the identification and implementation of Data & Analytics opportunities locally and in alignment with Global teams.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal and external partners to effectively leverage analytical and reporting capabilities within the organization.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in our journey to become a more digitally connected organization, inwards with our own global J&J Supply Chain Organization, and outwards with our sales agents. This role will partner with other analysts in the organization to drive cohesiveness in Data & Analytics strategies.
- Ensure the successful deployment and adoption of analytics solutions within the Supply Chain Planning team to drive Performance Improvement
- Proactively initiate discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Present findings through compelling visualizations and storytelling, enabling strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in analytics and supply chain management.
- Be an agent of change to increase awareness of digital technologies and innovation within the Data & Analytics space. Challenge the status quo and formulate recommendations to accelerate our digital journey.
Qualifications:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Analytics, Engineering, or Business preferred. Advanced degree preferred
Required:
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional work experience
- Organized self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency of various Data & Analytics tools, with demonstrated improvement to business results.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development, preferably in Power BI.
- Extensive analytical skills, strong communication & presentation skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on accurate, results-focused work and prioritizing multiple demands.
Preferred:
- Supply Chain, Operations or similar experience
- Process Excellence experience/training or certification (Lean, Six Sigma, FPX, Agile, etc.)
