About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's sales strategies, managing the sales team, and actively pursuing new business.
Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies. Prepare operational sales department reports. Oversee the management, learning, and career development of the sales team. Directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability
Sales Process and Performance Establish a consistent sales cadence, including pipeline reviews, forecasting sessions, and performance tracking. Drive strong CRM utilization and sales process discipline across the team. Build and actively manage a robust prospect database for corporate, group, and event clients. Maintain accountability for pace, production, and conversion metrics.
Business Development Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and community partners. Conduct site tours, presentations, and client negotiations. Ensure a smooth handoff from contract through execution to deliver an exceptional experience for guests and planners.
What You Will Bring Progressive sales experience in hospitality, hotel, or event venue environments. 5+ years as either a Senior Sales Manager or Director of Sales. Experience working directly with senior hotel leadership. Creative prospecting strategies to identify new business opportunities. A hands-on approach to building relationships with the community. Strong knowledge of GTA corporate and group market. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills Strong financial and analytical acumen.
