What’s in it for you?
-Wage:****$23.00 per hour
-**Hours:**Guaranteed Part-Time (20 hrs/week) PLUS a consistent temporary top-up of 10–20 additional hours per week (funded until October 2026).
-**Schedule:**Monday – Friday (Daytime and evening shifts to meet client needs).
-**Location:**Nanaimo, BC.

######What You’ll Do
-Empower & Coach:****Provide 1-to-1 and small group support to children, youth, and adults, focusing on social skills and behavioral stabilization.-Navigate & Advocate:****Connect families to vital community resources and act as a fierce advocate for their best interests.-Plan & Implement:****Design evidence-based goal plans tailored to each client’s unique strengths and needs.-Support in Crisis:****Recognize and de-escalate crisis situations with empathy and professional strategy.-**Collaborate:**Work closely with the Integrated Child, Youth, and Family Services team to ensure "person-centered" care.
######What You Bring
-Education:****A degree in Social/Human Services (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).-Certifications:****Valid First Aid/CPR (CCFL approved) and a clean Driver’s Abstract.-The Essentials:****You have a safe, reliable vehicle and are comfortable transporting clients. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can work independently when the pressure is on.-**Experience:**At least 1 year in a similar social services environment; experience with crisis intervention is a major asset
