- 5+ years of experience working with HRIS technologies, workforce analytics, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of HiBob and Cornerstone an asset.
- Degree in HR or MIS (Information systems) or a related discipline.
- A passion and drive to leverage AI in HR practices.
- Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations to support upgrades and Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you can contribute with your in-depth knowledge of HR and Talent Management systems.
- Strong Experience with BI tools ie: Power BI, Cognos etc.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, macros, pivot tables, charts) and other MS Office software.
- Superior attention to detail with an emphasis on data integrity and data quality.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information. Intellectually curious and creative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in creating trending overviews, executive summaries, and written recommendations, including best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, effective and comfortable working with vendors to resolve issues.
- Able to provide sound judgment, with an ability to maintain confidentiality and utilize discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver effectively on ad hoc requests.
As a Lead, People Analytics your role is to elevate our core operations within the People & Values team. You are an expert in human resources management systems, collect data and analyze it to improve HR strategies and processes, recommending ways to increase functional productivity. As a technical expert and strategic advisor in HRIS, AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and automation, you will transform how data flows across the People & Values team - enhancing operational excellence, improving employee experience, and building a scalable people technology foundation.
Technology & Integrated Ecosystem
- Define and drive the overall Tech Stack strategy.
- Work closely with the People & Values team and various stakeholders to support the build, deployment and enhancement of various HR technologies and platforms.
- Lead post implementation integration and define and measure success metrics.
- Drive automation through Data Pipelines between HRIS System (Cornerstone, Active Directory, ADP, MS Dynamics, Netsuite, Snowflake).
- Accountable for maintaining a centralized Data Warehouse in Snowflake.
- Support all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration) and user experience in the use of HRIS applications and desktop tools (talent acquisition, performance evaluation, and document management systems and software).
- Act as the main ‘superuser’ for HR systems, and the point of contact for the system providers.
- Own Vendor relationships and have a strong understanding of all related contracts.
- Identify ways in which AI can be leveraged across the People & Values Team and put forth a business case with recommendations.
Insights, Predictive Analytics & Reporting
- Enable close to Real Time Reporting with live dashboard reports enabled in Cognos or Power BI.
- Develop a line of business-specific and overall company dashboards on workforce metrics, which provide automation, efficiency, and provide insights to internal stakeholders to influence business decisions.
- Responsible for the overall analytics and reporting of various workforce, talent, and rewards metrics, and manage data quality and integrity by ensuring a regular audit cadence in coordination with the People & Values operations team.
- Leverage information, AI, market research, and HR systems, to generate meaningful insights to assist the business in making accurate and informed decisions, along with process improvements.
- Utilize data mining techniques and queries to gather business intelligence.
- Develop and implement a framework for reporting business productivity metrics in order to assess ongoing organizational efficiency.
P&V Operations
- Lead the continuous evaluation, evolution and automation of HR Systems and Technology and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the People & Values team to provide support to resolve HR technology matters, ensuring enhanced employee experience.
- Identify self-service opportunities to alleviate inquiries and enable the business.
- Establish and maintain knowledge management of reports, data and insights to ensure easy access and visibility into historical reporting.
Compensation
- Streamline annual bonus and compensation review process by leveraging HiBob for automation and efficiencies.
- Ensure timely updates of salary ranges, levels in HiBob based on new market data.
- Conduct compensation analysis and create remediation plan as required for approval.
