Terrace Lodge is a 100-bed long-term care home in the Township of Malahide. Our home is situated in beautiful Elgin County and features private and semi-private accommodation with 24-hour nursing care. Outdoor areas to relax with family, as well as living and dining areas, are available for resident enjoyment. A host of entertainment and recreational programs, animal-assisted therapy, spiritual care, and exercise programming are available.
**Position Title:**Housekeeping/Laundry Aide
**Type:**Temporary, Part-time
Compensation:$27.11 – $27.56/hour as per collective agreement

About the Role: Our Housekeeping/Laundry Aides perform cleaning operations designed to keep the Home in a clean, neat and tidy condition at all times and in accordance with established preventative maintenance and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, mopping cleaning walls/floors/windows/doors, maintaining carpets, cleaning resident living corridors and washrooms, all while working in a manner and with the protective devices, measures and procedures required by the County of Elgin and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
