As a key player on our finance team, you’ll manage a broad range of financial activities, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your insights will directly influence important business decisions and support our continued growth. Your day-to-day will include:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handling day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable/payable and bank/POS reconciliations
  • Tracking and reconciling revenue from diverse streams such as food & beverage sales, ticketing, sponsorships, events, and merchandise
  • Preparing and reconciling GL accounts and month-end journal entries with full documentation
  • Supporting our annual external audit by preparing essential documentation
  • Navigating accounting standards and compliance, including CRA requirements and tax filings
  • Delivering insightful financial analysis and identifying opportunities for operational improvements
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing internal reports on sales performance, margins, and expenses
  • Leading process improvements and driving efficiency across finance operations

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of financial analyst experience, preferably in food & beverage, retail, or entertainment industries
  • University degree in Business or Accounting, with CPA candidates encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in inventory tracking, cost accounting, and advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • A strong communicator who thrives collaborating in fast-moving, cross-functional teams
