These projects may include on-site sewage system designs, water resource impact assessments, environmental compliance monitoring, sewage maintenance re-inspection programs, development approval studies, construction tendering, and construction inspections, among others.
  • Liaison with regulators, including the MECP, on development applications, permits and ECA applications.
  • Develop technical work plans, work schedules, and financial proposals.
  • Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical results, and interpretations.
  • Provide excellent client management to existing and potential clients; including working with EnVision team members to develop new business through marketing initiatives.
  • In addition, any other functions assigned as part of your employment.

To apply to this position, you should expect to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study from an accredited university or college.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • 8+ years of experience within the industry with prior on-site sewage system experience managing land development, design, approval and construction projects.
  • Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from office/site (mileage to sites compensated).
  • Prior consulting experience is an asset, but not required.

Why EnVision?

  • Be part of a fast-growing professional services company that embodies a caring and supportive atmosphere.
  • Significant opportunities for growth and mentorship.
  • Competitive compensation and employer paid benefit options.
  • Employer matching program.
  • Positive work environment and culture, including social events and training sessions covering a wide variety of topics for the entire team.
  • Be part of a team that is known for technical excellence and strong project delivery.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the years of relevant experience and qualifications that the successful candidate brings to the role.
