Part-Time – Cashier & Merchandiser MacQuarries Pharmasave - Brookfield
Location: Brookfield, NS
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
About The Role Truro Pharmasave is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Cashier & Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring smooth operations and high customer service standards
- Provide a positive customer experience
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
- Address customer and staff concerns in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
- Assist with cash handling and cashier duties when necessary
- Support in merchandising displays, stock rotation, and inventory checks
- Take initiative to resolve issues and improve store efficiency
Qualifications & Skills We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and highly customer service oriented
- An excellent communicator and team motivator
- Organized and detail-focused, especially when handling cash or stock
- Able to take initiative and work independently when needed
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy retail environment
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and use stairs as needed
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous retail or merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.
