About the role

Type: In-Office | Full-Time

We are seeking a Contracts Coordinator, Professional Services for one of our clients. This role provides the opportunity to manage and administer high-risk and high-value professional services contracts , collaborate closely with Client-Partners, and contribute to the delivery of complex projects. Key Responsibilities

Contract & Project Management

  • Manage multiple professional services contracts and competing priorities.
  • Monitor contract cost, scope, and schedule, addressing risks and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Prepare estimates and negotiate costs for changes in contract scope.
  • Review invoices, statements of work, and consultant deliverables for compliance.
  • Carry out quality assurance and write performance reviews.
  • Track schedules, milestones, and financial aspects of contracts.

Stakeholder & Client-Partner Relations

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consultants, industry partners, and Client-Partners.
  • Liaise with Client-Partner representatives on contract risks and status updates.
  • Provide regular reports and advice on contract management issues.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure consultant deliverables meet corporate and Client-Partner quality standards.
  • Verify compliance with health and safety, industrial security, and environmental requirements.
  • Document communications, risks, and key contract details.

Other Duties

  • Review statements of work for potential risks.
  • Conduct or attend site visits and contract-related meetings.
  • Support business development and other corporate initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: College diploma in engineering, architecture, or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or the equivalent.
  • Preferred: Certification in an applicable field (e.g., Project Management Professional, Certified Engineering Technologist).

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of professional services procurement, contract law, and bidding processes.
  • Understanding of design processes and deliverables (pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents).
  • Familiarity with project, contract, and risk management principles.
  • Knowledge of health and safety management practices.

Abilities

  • Proficiency in applicable computer software and operating systems.
  • Ability to apply project, contract, and risk management techniques.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Must comply with the organization’s Code of Business Conduct.

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment with occasional site visits.
  • Required monthly travel to Cold Lake.
  • Some work may take place on construction sites, requiring basic safety equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $91,826 – $119,370 (continuing employment status).
