Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Records and Data, this role is accountable for developing and executing comprehensive communications to support the successful closure and transition of our multi-year enterprise transformation program focused on personal information remediation and records management uplift. The successful candidate will proactively develop key messaging frameworks, engage diverse stakeholder communities, and implement change communications that drive adoption and alignment across the organization. Assigned initiatives are expected to be delivered effectively through collaboration with business, privacy, records, and technical teams to create compelling, stakeholder-centric communications that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the successful transition of program activities to business-as-usual operations and sustainment by engaging stakeholders across the organization. You will achieve this through the following:
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Promote awareness and adoption of program outcomes, go-forward expectations, and transition requirements across the records community, privacy community, and business and technical teams. Develop targeted messaging that resonates with diverse audiences and secure alignment on clear, consistent communication narratives that drive compliance and behavioral change.
Strategic Messaging Development
Develop comprehensive key message frameworks that articulate program closure activities, business responsibilities for program wind-down, and post-program operating models. Create communications on complex initiatives such as the records retention schedule redesign, encompassing taxonomy development, enterprise process alignment, and multi-stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring all audiences understand their role in the transition.
Change & Transformation Leadership
Align communications and change strategies to the Enterprise Delivery Framework and ADKAR/change management methodologies. Prepare and present communications materials, stakeholder briefings, and executive summaries based on analysis of program status, risks, and transition milestones to keep functional leaders informed and engaged throughout the program closure.
Stakeholder Alignment & Negotiation
Working with records, privacy, business, and technical partners, facilitate difficult conversations, align stakeholders on challenging messaging, and negotiate communication approaches that address competing priorities while maintaining program integrity. Gather, validate, and document stakeholder requirements and concerns to inform communications strategies that support achieving program objectives.
Operational Excellence in Communications
Identify, develop, implement, and maintain communication processes and tools that increase effectiveness and reach across the enterprise. Liaise and work with technology, records, privacy, and compliance teams to ensure communications are timely, accurate, and accessible to all stakeholder groups.
Building Strong Partnerships
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholder networks including records community leaders, privacy practitioners, business unit executives, and technical teams. Serve as a trusted advisor and communication bridge, ensuring consistent interpretation and adoption of program messaging across the enterprise.
Leadership
Create a positive work environment by being an effective role model and championing the organization's mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with communication standards and change management principles by applying them fairly and consistently so stakeholders understand expectations and feel supported through transition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Establish and maintain key relationships with a wide range of internal teams and departments, including leaders across Enterprise Records Management, Privacy, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Units, Technology & Infrastructure, Information Security, Compliance, and operational business teams. Cultivate professional networks with internal and external change management, communications, and records management experts.
Required Experience
3 years of experience in enterprise communications, change management, and/or program delivery 3 years of experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation programs, with an understanding of program components for governance, communications, stakeholder engagement, change adoption, processes, and delivery to support program objectives 3 years of experience applying ADKAR, structured change approaches, and enterprise delivery frameworks to support stakeholder readiness, adoption, and sustained business outcomes
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience in financial/banking services (preferred but not mandatory)
