This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Implementation Consultant based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of healthcare by helping organizations successfully implement advanced electronic medical record solutions. As an Implementation Consultant, you will work directly with healthcare teams to optimize workflows, configure systems, and support the transition to efficient digital platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including technical specialists, clinical experts, and project leaders, to deliver impactful solutions. The position combines healthcare knowledge, technology expertise, consulting skills, and client relationship management. You will play a key role in improving care delivery by ensuring healthcare professionals can effectively adopt and leverage new digital tools. Accountabilities: As an Implementation Consultant, you will support the successful delivery of healthcare technology implementations by guiding clients through system configuration, workflow optimization, and adoption. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring solutions are aligned with clinical needs and operational goals. Implement healthcare software solutions, with a focus on electronic medical record (EMR) platforms and ambulatory care functionalities. Execute project tasks according to defined implementation plans while collaborating with project managers, solution architects, clinical consultants, and other stakeholders. Configure systems and provide technical guidance to clients to support successful solution deployment. Analyze existing healthcare workflows and translate paper-based processes into optimized digital workflows. Provide consulting support on critical ambulatory processes, including registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation. Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system issues and complex workflow challenges throughout implementation projects. Support go-live activities and help clients achieve adoption and transformation objectives. Build strong relationships with end users, clinical teams, and executive stakeholders by managing expectations and providing expert guidance. Advocate for client needs while ensuring successful project delivery and long-term solution adoption. Requirements: The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare technology implementations and understands the relationship between clinical workflows and digital systems. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and quickly learning new technologies and processes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and system configuration experience. Strong functional knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare workflows. Experience participating in formal implementation projects involving successful EMR system rollouts. Experience with healthcare platforms such as Sunrise EMR, Epic, Meditech, or similar solutions is an asset. Clinical background or experience supporting healthcare teams through technology adoption is preferred. Technical knowledge such as SQL, reporting tools, or system configuration is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders. Experience managing multiple priorities within long-term implementation projects. Ability to quickly learn new information, adapt to changing environments, and solve complex problems. Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% for key implementation and go-live activities. Benefits: Remote work flexibility with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada.
