About this opportunity:
We are looking for a summer intern with aspiration in gaining experiences in software development, System Integration, Solution Architecture, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, and Generative AI. In this role you will be working with a dynamic team and your mentor and responsible for scoping, defining and designing solution offerings and driving customized technical solutions based on customer specifications, business needs, and cutting-edge technologies.
Join our Team
You will do:
- Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
- Works closely with the design leadership to generate design alternatives.
- Work closely with team to communicate project needs.
- Help ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying any observed bottlenecks and bugs, and suggesting solutions / technical alternatives to mitigate and address these issues; Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code, and improve/streamline processes and systems.
- Support projects through entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in the requirements analysis and research gathering process, and/or writing documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and other forms of documentation.
- Interact with team members (end-users, testers, distributors, analysts and project/release managers) in a team-oriented fashion.
- Follow software development methodologies and best practices.
- Involving in cutting-edge initiative projects using AI/ML, Generative AI technologies
- Performing Model Development, Data Preparation, Model Training, Integration, Model evaluation and optimization.
- Documentation: Document the development process, model architecture, and deployment procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
You will bring:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in computer science
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers, and Ericsson Language Intelligence (ELI)
- Strong understanding of deep learning algorithms and architectures, particularly in the context of generative models like GPT, GANs, and VAEs.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP), or other AI subfields relevant to generative tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for model deployment.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, API design, and data architecture.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for AI model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Cloud native, Kubernetes, Cassandra Database, and proven experience developing using Java and Python scripts.
- Understanding of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Concepts.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, production deployment and maintenance; Experience or understanding of working in an Agile environment.
- Familiar with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI concepts, Algorithms and data processing.
- Experience or familiarity with the CI/CD, Test Automation
- Experience with HTML/CSS, JSON Requests, and Responsive Web Development is a definite PLUS.
- Experience in frontend development language such as Angular, React is a definite PLUS.
- Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Eligibility requirements:
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op/internship
- Be available to work 40 hours per week
