Health and Safety Coordinator Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and maintenance of all Health and Safety information tracking systems
  • Facilitate incident investigations and reporting requirements
  • Performing workplace inspections and audits of high consequence protocols
  • Facilitate the development and review of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Facilitate job hazard analysis and coach on the use of the 5 Point Safety Card
  • Deliver site inductions
  • Compile and maintain training documentation
  • Assist in managing Mine Rescue Program and emergency preparedness equipment and procedures

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications And Experience

  • Diploma or Certificate Program in Health and Safety or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong organization skills with ability to multitask and accomplish tasks, projects and goals efficiently
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Professional attitude and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong process management skills

Salary Range: CAD $74,750 to $122,350 / year

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
