We are seeking dedicated and skilled Lane Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working around heavy equipment operations, construction. As a Lane Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of road and lane construction projects, contributing to the development and maintenance of our infrastructure.
We are also seeking new personnel that are interested in a career change.
Duties
Operate Highway Lane Closure Trucks and equipment used in construction projects. Assist in the preparation and layout of work sites, ensuring all materials are ready for use. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or project progress to supervisors promptly.
Experience
Experience in Lane Closure equipment operation. We are also willing to train new eager candidates looking for long term employment. Knowledgeable on the layout of traffic control setups and take down. Valid TCP ticket. Familiarity with Traffic Control equipment and materials is highly desirable. Background in Traffic Control or related fields is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Able to adapt to changing project requirements. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get to job sites. Able to lift 20 to 30 lb equipment.

We have played a major role in the development of the guidelines for the new Traffic Control Management requirements on Ministry and Municipality projects, including Work Safe BC regulations. We have a strong working relationship with the BC Road Builders, Translink, Mainroad Contracting and the Ministry of Transportation. We pride ourselves on keeping the projects safe for the Travelling Public and the Prime Contractors.
