The Junior School Teacher-On-Call position will be contacted as required to lead teaching and learning in the Junior School (Kindergarten - Grade 7). The Junior School is a vibrant, innovative school community focussed on personal excellence, whole child development, and overall wellness. Enjoy the experience of teaching in a dynamic kindergarten play-based program, in primary classrooms with a focus on emergent reading, writing and numeracy, in an inquiry-driven intermediate program supported with personal iPads, or in a distinct middle school curriculum determined by the unique development of preadolescent girls as they prepare for high school.

Responsibilities:
- Teacher-on-call (Kindergarten to Grade 7)
- Teacher-on-call in specialist subjects including physical education, art, music and French depending on skill set and experience
- Leave detailed notes for teacher following each day
- Support with supervision of students during non-instructional time
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff as required
- Provide personalized instruction and learning support for individual students as required
- Participate in co-curricular activities and clubs as required
- Understand and implement all health and safety routines as outlined in our Exposure Control Plan
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Commitment to teaching whole child
- Collaborative, flexible, and enthusiastic
