About the role
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Food Services Supervisor or Area Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Dietetics Porter is responsible for: performing a variety of janitorial tasks in the main kitchen and cafeteria; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Demonstrated good personal cleanliness.
- Manual skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk/stand throughout the shift.
- Ability to move heavy objects, and have the ability to climb stepladders etc., in the process of cleaning certain lights, firebells, etc.
- Ability to withstand heat and steam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Interviewed candidates may be called upon to participate in a skills assessment.
