WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
The Snow School Supervisor plays a key role in creating exceptional mountain experiences by leading, supporting, and inspiring the Ski & Ride School team. Responsible for lesson assignments, daily direction, and overall leadership of instructors. This position helps ensure every guest enjoys a fun, seamless, and memorable lesson experience. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding guest service at learning centres, adjusting day of schedules for instructors as needed by coordinating class assignments, and providing ongoing training, coaching, and seasonal performance evaluations for instructors. The Snow School Supervisor also helps drive team success through strong communication, positive leadership, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests and employees alike. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for guest service, strong business acumen, and the organizational ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic mountain environment. Allocating lessons to Instructors. Ensuring team has the necessary support to assist with the operation of the learning center. Timecard submissions and editing within Flaik, Snow School Management software. Providing immediate response to product and service shortfalls. Providing staff with on-hill support, when the opportunity presents itself. Providing staff with immediate feedback when performance issues and good work are observed. Referring to the daily staff feedback when completing the individual pros seasonal performance evaluations. Managing the “Employee and Guest Experience”.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Previous Ski / Snowboard instructing experience. Experienced CSIA/CASI Level II, III or IV. Previous leadership experience.
Computer proficiency an asset (i.e.: Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint)
Must be able to work outdoors in a physical role and lift to 50 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays (Christmas, Family Day weekend and March Break). Successful applicants who are 18 years of age or older will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
