We're looking for a caring laundry attendant who loves immaculate whiteness.
This member of our team ensures the comfort and well-being of our guests by
maintaining their bedding. He/she respects safety and hygiene regulations and works with a positive attitude to maintain a pleasant, clean and safe working environment day after day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Receive, sort and inspect (stains, wear, damage) used bedding.
- Fill and activate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
- Fold, hang and stack clean linen items in an organized manner to facilitate retrieval and distribution.
- Iron items as necessary to maintain a neat appearance.
- Ensure the storage and rotation of clean linen and the organization of facilities by monitoring inventory levels and reporting any malfunctions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry, an asset
- Good physical fitness: standing for long periods and ability to bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and collaborating as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays, as required
