About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a deeply collaborative, trauma-informed, and purpose-driven team at Broken Squirrel Wellness, working with veterans, first responders, and complex persistent pain populations.
Our clinic specializes in interdisciplinary rehabilitation (IDR) programs and individual services, grounded in modern pain science, nervous system regulation, and whole-person care. We support clients navigating persistent pain, trauma, and complex health presentations with a focus on restoring function, autonomy, and quality of life. You’ll be joining a highly experienced and well-supported team that includes a pain specialist, physiotherapist, chiropractor, psychologist, counsellors, kinesiologists, yoga therapists, and other wellness professionals, alongside multiple other disciplines. Collaboration is not just encouraged here, it’s foundational to how we practice.
Our 5,000 sq ft facility includes a fully equipped gym, Pilates Reformers, a dedicated yoga studio, neurolounge nervous system supported technologies, and spaces designed for both active rehab and nervous system regulation. Our care model is rooted in clinical reasoning, therapeutic relationship, and individualized treatment. Our team culture is tight-knit, supportive, and values-driven; where clinicians are given the space to develop their own style within a collaborative framework. We are currently looking to expand due to high demand for registered massage services. Located in Courtenay, BC, this role also offers an exceptional lifestyle—access to mountains, ocean, and a vibrant outdoor community.
