We are seeking an individual who is deeply immersed in the world of consolidation, possessing an understanding of standard consolidation and closing processes.
Utilizing your expertise, you will harness our software platform to enhance the effectiveness of our customers consolidation and closing operations.
Our projects begin with a comprehensive analysis of the current challenges faced by our clients. Your role will involve understanding these challenges and crafting a vision for the integration of Prophix within the company as the primary consolidation and close engine. Your guidance will be instrumental in the front-end calibration of this engine to customer needs and transitioning users from Prophix novices to accomplished Prophix professionals.
As a consultant, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of customers from various industries. Each new project will expand your knowledge, honing your ability to create tailored solutions that precisely match the client's needs. Your creative problem-solving skills and adaptability will be instrumental in making a lasting impact on our clients and driving overall success.
What You Will Do
Our consultants lead all aspects of small-medium implementations of the Prophix Software, including:

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to review current and design optimal consolidation and closing processes.

Solution Implementation: Architect and configure Prophix consolidations application to accomplish process design ensuring the highest standards of quality. Dive deep into complex technical challenges developing innovative and scalable solutions to address them effectively.

Coaching: Coach clients in effectively using the software, empowering them to maximize its potential.

Project Management: Communicate project progress, technical solutions, and potential roadblocks to clients and internal leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge of Accounting Standards Applications: lead the consolidation of financial data from multiple entities or subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, ASPE or IFRS) and accurate reporting.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in financial close process management including Consolidations, Account Reconciliation
-
Experience producing consolidated financial statements.
-
Knowledge of Investment / Equity eliminations, currency conversion, and intercompany eliminations.
-
Working knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and GAAP
-
In depth understanding of Cash Flow
-
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and reporting teams to gather necessary financial data and resolve consolidation issues
-
Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Professional Accountant in good standing

Experience with other Consolidation solutions, such as Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik
