About The Role. The Global Agricultural Team is seeking an intern to join us from May to August 2026. This internship will lead a process, specifically by supporting the agriculture team on their goals to complete business process mapping for key areas of the business. The business process mapping has been completed for Grower Relationship Management and that will provide a base of knowledge, so that the successful candidate can continue to build out other key areas of the agriculture business.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Work with key business process stakeholders to define business processes to establish consistent and reliable practices.
- Work with business process owners to understand the objectives of a defined process, the key process steps, and the company standards that should be maintained as part of that process.
- Consult and align with the Global Ways of Agriculture workstream on any established standards that may underpin a process.
- Identify potential value opportunities from optimization of a process and align with Agriculture SCA to build into their delivery timeline.
- Collaborate with McCain Digital Agriculture on potential opportunities to optimize a business process and build into their delivery timeline.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- College Junior/Senior majoring in Agriculture, Ag Business, Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- Knowledge of farm practices and vegetable production is desirable but not necessary
- Basic to Intermediate skills in word processing, spreadsheet, data management, and presentation preparations. Statistical computer applications are preferred
- Communication skills – must be able to speak effectively both to individuals as well as to groups, making short presentations in group settings, familiar with video conferencing
- Must be able to write routine correspondence and reports to a variety of audiences
- A valid driver’s license, comfortable flying/driving long distances
- Work outside in different weather conditions under the sun and in a variety of temperatures
- Occasionally requires substantial physical effort and working in awkward positions
About The Team. The Global Agriculture Team is dispersed across various McCain locations worldwide. The role supports McCain growing regions across Canada and the US. The supervisor is located in Easton, Maine. This position is based in Florenceville, NB alongside the field team.

Compensation Package: $23.00-$26.00 CAD hourly wage equivalent, paid salary. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
