Member Intelligence Data Analyst

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is a national, not-for-profit, shared services organization that supports hundreds of health care providers across Canada, as well as child welfare agencies and other public sector organizations. MMC provides value-driven contracting and procurement solutions for medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceutical products, local sourcing, capital (equipment, FF&E and redevelopment) and nutrition solutions. Other services include data analytics, in-hospital support, warehousing/logistics, technology, procure-to-pay, and accounts payable.

With an emerging focus on sustainability and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, MMC is actively supporting the creation of a resilient value chain that incorporates environmental, social, and economic best practices. Based in Burlington, ON, the organization also has offices in Toronto, Thunder Bay, Kingston, Brantford, London and Chatham, and a distribution centre in Oakville.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Member Intelligence Data Analyst to support our Member Engagement team.

Position Overview

The Member Intelligence Data Analyst plays a crucial role in interpreting Member data and providing insights to the organization to enhance its Member services. They are responsible for generating Member specific reports across all MMC services. They advise on information needed by members and assist data teams in collecting this information. The Member Intelligence Data Analyst reports to the Director, Acquisitions & Customer Onboarding and works closely with Account Directors to support their member reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Data Analytics team to identify sources of member specific data for all MMC services and develop methods to query data to produce member specific reports
  • Use statistical tools and software to analyze data
  • Support Account Directors in obtaining standardized, member specific reporting to present to members
  • Create detailed reports and presentations of findings for management
  • Identify trends and patterns in Member behaviors and provide actionable insights
  • Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Use data to create predictive models and Member segmentation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post secondary degree in relevant field (mathematics, computer science, business, engineering).
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience as a data analyst, preferably in a supply chain environment
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights. Strong problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, control and coordinate various activities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Knowledge/experience in supply chain management, preferably in a health care setting and understanding of business and legal issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to write business reports summarizing and explaining analytical findings
  • Developing/conducting presentations of data to various user groups
  • Strong skills in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, Excel, or PowerBI. Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques is essential.
  • MS Office, business – advanced knowledge, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Business Central or other ERP system preferred

Travel

  • Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required.
