Job Overview As a Production Clerk you will be responsible to review employee hours and to prepare reports to be analyzed by management, as well as assisting the Production team with all inquires surrounding Coupa. The role will be responsible for preparing production paperwork and printing labels for production.
Shift- Afternoon- 3:00 to 11:00 PM
Location- Etobicoke, ON
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of all POs and invoices through Coupa system for the Operations & Production department in the specific plant they are assigned to
- Inventory control of all Production purchased through the Coupa system
- Tasked with the development of the invoices for the temporary labour within the various departments such as Production, Sanitation, Shipping and Receiving
- Completion of LVR in accordance with the accounting representative(s) on-site
- Review previous shift hours for various departments such as Production, Sanitation, Shipping and Receiving
- Check for any missed hours from previous shift
- Sign in temporary employees and in Give & Go’s internal payroll system for multiple shifts, whether the day, afternoon, or night shift
- Prepare a daily time report outlining employee’s shift sign-in and sign-out
- Communicate with the Production Supervisor or the Plant Manager on the number of temporary labour in the current shift
- Send confirmation of employees to the agencies
- Communicate with agencies of new requisition for next shifts
- File production and packaging sheets on daily basis in collaboration with the Production Supervisor and review the documents for any issues or missed orders
- Print next morning temporary employee list for the next employee scheduled to complete the job expectations
- Reconcile the hours daily to ensure Finance & Accounting has the information for payment
- Follow company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes
- Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your Supervisor
- Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company
- Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation
Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of college diploma in Accounting, Payroll, or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Previous experience working in the Food Manufacturing industry
- Previous experience in a Finance & Accounting position
- Basic computer skills with intermediate hands-on experience in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Word
- Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP requirements
- Some technical and/or basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks on the go
- Flexibility to work rotating and/or weekend shift as required
- Basic understanding of Finance & Accounting principles and processes
