About the role
The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2026 BTMA 317 LEC 07 / TUT 07 (Introduction to Business Technology Management) online. Classes in the Winter 2026 semester run from January 12 to April 14, 2026. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 17 to April 28, 2026, if applicable.
BTMA 317 -Introduction to Business Technology Management Online Via Zoom: LEC 07 Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-10:45am TUT 07 Thursday 18:30-21:15
The calendar description of the course:
"Focus is on digital business technology management and enterprise applications. Foundation areas include: digital business strategy, strategy alignment, enterprise analysis, IT platforms, data management, business analytics, IT governance, IT innovation, organizational impacts, and economic considerations. Technical skills are developed with an examination of managerial and leadership issues."
Qualifications
- Received an MBA and has work experience related to technology, received a PhD or PhD ABD in Business Technology Management, or is pursuing a PhD in Business Technology Management.
- Has prior post-secondary teaching experience.
- Has prior experience working with data visualization tools.
