The Role
The supply chain management (SCM) team is seeking a knowledgeable professional who can provide strong operational support, guidance, and expertise across our supply chain systems and digital tools. In this role, you will work directly with SCM functional areas to keep core platforms running effectively, assist with enhancements, resolve issues, and ensure our technologies are used consistently and efficiently. You will also stay connected to industry practices and benchmarking activities to help identify opportunities that strengthen our systems, streamline processes, and reinforce Cameco’s broader strategic objectives.
In this role, you will:

Provide ongoing support for SAP S/4 SCM and related SAP modules and processes, Fieldglass as well as periodic and ad hoc information or reporting requests.

Provide support for purchasing document activities, including processing purchase order closure requests, updating purchasing info records and outline agreements, maintaining auto‑PO and source list settings.

Provide investigative and solutioning expertise for SAP SCM issues and functionality including release strategies, service entry sheets, source lists and other key configuration areas.

Assist with system enhancements by creating and executing test scripts and by helping train colleagues on updated functionality.

Assume responsibility for key supply chain applications, overseeing their evolution, usability, and continuous enhancement.

Bring experience working with e‑procurement tools, digital catalogue platforms, and solutions that interface or integrate with SAP systems.

Supporting the corrective action process and quality management activities.

Work collaboratively with IT and business partners to improve ERP system performance.
Required:
-
bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or in a related field;
-
five to eight years of supply chain experience;
-
equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; and
-
experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
Recommended:
- background working with or supporting platforms such as SAP S/4, SAP Fieldglass, core SCM transaction flows, and OCI‑enabled catalogue solutions would be an asset;
- demonstrated capability to guide cross‑functional groups and steer organizational initiatives to successful outcomes; and
- SAP SCM certification is an asset.
