Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Advise press crew on product specifications or material requirements . Prepare production schedules. Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required. Plan production methods. Estimate costs. Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console. Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment. Set up and make adjustments to printing machines. Review work order to determine job specifications. Operate and monitor printing machines during print run and make adjustments. Input codes and key in programming data on console keyboard of computerized machines. Design and layout pages. Provide customer service. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Illustrator. InDesign. Area of specialization: Graphic design. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
