About the role
Bentley School is a Pre-K to gr 12 school that serves 425 students. We are looking for an educational assistant that is committed to fostering student success. The goal is to take great pride in creating a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, athletically and personally.
Assignment:

Part-time 0.637 FTE Temporary Educational Assistant position

Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until October 3, 2025

To provide support and assistance to students in Kindergarten within small groups and individualized settings
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience working with students in a one-on-one and small group setting
- Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships with students
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a flexible learning environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with all staff to ensure the best possible educational experience
- Experience working with service providers would be considered an asset
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
