Parts Technician

Location: Delta, BC – 10387 Nordel Court Delta BC
Reports to: Service Manager
Job Status: Full Time
Shifts Available: Day Shift

Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is proud North American leader in transportation equipment and solutions. We're full-service and fully loaded with an industry-leading diverse fleet of over 80,000 trailers and a support network of 240 service bays, 118 mobile service trucks, and 430+ skilled mechanics.

Maintaining parts orders for the service center and ensuring the organization of shipping and receiving.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Receive, unload, organize, and replenish parts inventory while maintaining accurate records and proper labeling.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, create purchase orders in the system, and support inventory cycle counts.
  • Source, pick up, and manage non‑stock parts through local vendors, including driving the parts truck as needed.
  • Support service technicians, shop staff, and customers (walk‑in, phone, and email) with parts identification and sales.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and assist with building maintenance, safety inspections, and general shop tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.

  • Strong computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.

  • Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift to 100 lbs.

  • Experience with Shipping and receiving and inventory management.

  • Drive's licenses

  • Forklift experience with a valid license

  • Trailer/transportation industry experience
