JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Account Specialist will play a key role in driving growth and strengthening customer relationships across Ontario, Quebec, and Maritime regions. This position is responsible for managing small and medium-sized accounts, while supporting Outside Sales with larger strategic opportunities. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to balance account management with proactive business development.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, as follows:
Account Management:
- Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized accounts.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute prospecting strategies to open new accounts and expand market share with current customers.
Sales Support and Strategy:
- Assist the Director and District Manager in analytics, trend analysis, pricing, and pitch development for larger customers within Ontario, Quebec, and Maritime regions.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to deliver top-tier customer service and value.
- Use the BUILD Partnership Process to foster strong long-term customer relationships.
Event Coordination and Customer Engagement:

Assist the Outside Sales team with coordinating customer events and trade shows.

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Prerequisites:

5 years or more of sales experience

Basic understanding of the Plumbing / Water Well Market

Knowledge and understanding of office requirements and computer skills to be able to perform each essential job requirement.

Bilingualism in French and English is preferred but not a requirement
Working Conditions and physical demands:
Physical Environment: Work is usually performed in a climate-controlled, indoor environment which is clean, well-lit, and quiet.
Physical Effort: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk are common, often while working on a computer.
- Repetitive Movements: Frequent use of hands for typing, mouse control, and handling documents.

- Lifting: Occasionally lifting and moving office supplies or equipment, typically weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Walking and Standing: Some walking and standing may be required, such as moving between different areas of the office or attending meetings.
