About the role
Applications are being accepted for the position of:
INDIGENOUS SUPPORT WORKER
ISW work is a great way to make a meaningful difference in lives of students throughout the district.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Up to one academic year of coursework related to Child Youth Care or equivalent training and experience
- Job related experience working with children and youth for greater than 12 months
- An understanding of indigenous culture
- A good understanding of behavior management techniques
- Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate, once hired
- Physically capable of performing the job duties
This is a unionized position with a pay rate as of July 1, 2023 of $34.56 per hour.
