As the Systems Developer you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team.
Technologies you have experience with:

You have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.

You have experience with JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and Confluence or similar tools.
-
Having experience with Guidewire plugins, Message Broker, REST/SOAP services is an asset
-
Experience with UiPath automation is an asset.
How you will create impact:

Supporting the team in various responsibilities including estimating assigned tasks, completing status reports, and creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Participating in the design and execution of program coding to implement features of small to medium complexity.
-
Contributing to an implementation and back-out plan for a single system.
-
Assisting with unit testing for developed code, verifying functionalities and supporting system and user acceptance testing.

Learning relevant Information Technology (IT) standards, methodologies, processes and tools and contributing to project reviews.

To join our team:

You have three years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.

You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

You have 1+ years experience in Object Oriented Programming languages using JAVA technology
What you need to know:

You will travel occasionally.

Rotational on-call schedule, with shifts during evenings and weekends.

Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.

You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
